STUDENT WORK
Our workshops emphasize learning by doing in a collaborative and collegial atmosphere. Making good travel photographs requires flexibility, fluidity and creativity on the move; conditions are always changing and the photographer learns to take advantage of situations, lighting and conditions as they shift. We keep our groups small, create intimate assignments, and then edit the work together. In the late afternoons or early evenings, we do a slide show of the day's best photos, giving everyone a chance to see how what subject or topic can result in a kaleidoscopic range of results. This gallery showcases some of the work of our talented students from workshops in Orvieto, Italy, and Maiden Rock, Wisconsin.
